The Calibration Technician is responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and repairing a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Team located in Grens and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
Act as Subject Matter Expert for the calibration and CMMS process for the site, owning the development and improvement of calibration procedures and protocols.
Perform on-time calibration of instruments and equipment according to established procedures, standards, and plans (internal and external calibrations), while maintaining accurate records of calibration activities, including test results and adjustments made.
Manage QMS actions and records linked to calibration, such as deviations, investigations, change controls, and CAPAs.
Support Maintenance and Manufacturing team activities, collaborating with other departments to address calibration-related issues and provide technical support.
Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in calibration technology (e.g., ISO, ANSI, ASTM) to reduce lead time and cost for calibrations.
Who you are:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred, with proven experience (> 5 years) as a Calibration Technician or in a similar role.
Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, ISO 17025, etc.) and related requirements.
Proficiency in using calibration tools and software.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Maintenance activities
INFOR EAM system
Project management
