Accounting Coordinator

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- General accounting for Brazil to include month-end close, entry preparation, reconciliations, support audit request, and GAAP reporting as the need arises. Supports the Regional Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department.
- Prepare local vendors in local tax obligations and its submission to the tax authority, as such “LALUR”, “EFD Contribuições”, “ECD”, “ECF”, tax packages, corporate reporting requirements, etc.
- Propose systems improvements and build reports to support senior management decisions.
- Coordinates internal audit with audit requirements (including assigned SOX reporting and testing) and follow-up assigned outstanding items for internal auditors.
- Assist all areas on accounting matters and accurately register accruals or other entries to ensure accounting accuracy and its compliance with Danaher policies.
YOUR PROFILE
Education:
- BS Degree in Accounting with Brazilian CPA “CRC-Conselho Regional de Contabilidade”
Experience:
- Strong experience in Accounting, specially accounts payables, treasury, banks reconciliations;
- Experience in SAP (BlackLine, iBuy and MobileExpenses will be considered a differential);
Language:
- English - Intermediate;
- Portuguese - Fluent.
