The Sales Funnel Development Specialist – Discovery Consumables position is responsible for developing and generating funnel leads for the Consumables portfolio of our low medium business size. This role is part of the EMEA Discovery Commercial organization and will be a remote position.
What you will do:
- With guidance from the Inside Sales Leader and Modality Leaders, develop a prospecting funnel strategy to build a target account list and align on messaging for initial phone calls or emails.
- Support the Commercial Sales field to improve lead generation.
- Develop and qualify sufficient lead volume within assigned accounts to build funnel pipeline to target levels required to meet sales goals.
- Contact prospective targets multiple times using various methods (email, phone, etc.) until a lead is either created, or confirmed not-appropriate based on their characteristics.
- Support customer relationship transitions of positive leads generated to the Account Manager.
Who you are:
- Bachelors Degree in Science concentration and 1+ years of life sciences sales experience, preferably with biotechnology Consumables.
- Exceptional telephone prospecting skills with problem-solving mindset and organized follow-up.
- Self-starter, comfortable setting and working toward ambitious goals and working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to confidently convey high value, product quality and diverse capabilities.
This role doesn't involve frequent travelling.
