The Proposal Specialist for Aldevron is responsible for scoping and proposal generation that drives significant impact to the organization. 

 

This position is part of the Commercial Operations department located in Fargo North Dakota and will be on-site at the Breakthrough campus.  At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the DNA proposals team and report to the Manager of Proposals responsible for drafting and execution of all GMP DNA proposals 

In this role you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Scoping and Documentation: Accurately and timely scope DNA custom manufacturing and SOWs, including monitoring and obtaining required approvals. 

  • Client Interaction: Actively participate in client calls to understand requirements, collect necessary input, present proposals, and encourage discussions to refine client needs. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure timely completion of supporting documentation for proposals. 

  • Liaison Role: Serve as a bridge between clients and internal operations and quality teams to align business terms with organizational capabilities and client expectations. 

The Essential Requirements of the job include: 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field is required. Broad scientific and technical knowledge of molecular biology, and protein biochemistry is strongly desired. 

  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills with high proficiency in MS Office.  Experience drafting proposals and any CDMO standards is a plus .

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and work collaboratively. 

  • Ability to work full time onsite in Fargo North Dakota . Relocation may be considered .

 

It would be a plus if you also possess experience in  

  • Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 

  • Experience working in a Quality Management System (QMS). 

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
