The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst for Leica Biosystems is key business partner for the business, helping improve financial stability and decision making. You will also play a role in some global ad hoc projects as well as implementing process improvements.

You will be a part of the Global FP&A Team and report to the Sr. Mgr. Global FP&A located in Deer Park, IL and will be on-site and responsible ensuring that all financial planning and reporting is accurate, business focused and in line with DHR guidelines. In this role you will have the opportunity to:

Assist with LBS budget, forecasting and actual reporting processes including all related deliverables, inclusive of:

  • Assisting with Flash reports, FC, Actual narratives, FC review files, Ops deck, president letter & IR template inputs.

  • Assisting with business partnering for support function leaders, drive projects/investments and cost analysis and help in process improvement.

  • Preparing & reviewing monthly corporate function deliverables with business leaders.

  • Work with finance teams locally to ensure FC accuracy across global functions and month end reviews to ensure all spend accurately reported.

  • Support ad hoc projects and analyses as needed

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related fields with 5+ years experience OR Master’s degree in field with 3+ years experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0+ years experience

  • Effective time management skills & ability to prioritize/triage deliverables

  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) & great attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced excel skills as well as SAP or comparable ERP system experience

Travel/Location of Travel, include approximate overnight stays per week

  • Travel expectations within this role are minimal (<10%)

  • This role shall be based at Deer Park, IL

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Certified Public Accountant

  • Experience with OneStream

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
