In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Analysis of the causes of defects in the manufacturing process and countermeasures
- Improvement of manufacturing processes (e.g., by introducing manufacturing unique tools)
- Design modification associated with the defect countermeasures and improvements
- Verification of design changes and preparation of verification reports
- Modify the manufacturing working instruction, drawings, etc.
- Responding to technical inquiries and participating in meetings for products jointly produced with overseas sites.
- Transfer of manufacturing for new products
- Feasibility study and implementation to apply automation tools to manufacturing processes
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Graduated from a university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Control Engineering is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in field with 2+ years exp. Or Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years exp
- Proficient in Japanese at a native level
- Capable of everyday conversational English
- Skilled in 3D CAD (Solidworks)
