In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Analysis of the causes of defects in the manufacturing process and countermeasures
  • Improvement of manufacturing processes (e.g., by introducing manufacturing unique tools)
  • Design modification associated with the defect countermeasures and improvements
  • Verification of design changes and preparation of verification reports
  • Modify the manufacturing working instruction, drawings, etc.
  • Responding to technical inquiries and participating in meetings for products jointly produced with overseas sites.
  • Transfer of manufacturing for new products
  • Feasibility study and implementation to apply automation tools to manufacturing processes

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Graduated from a university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Control Engineering is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 2+ years exp. Or Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years exp
  • Proficient in Japanese at a native level
  • Capable of everyday conversational English
  • Skilled in 3D CAD (Solidworks)
