This position manages a team of marketers responsible for country activities that grow the awareness, recognition and choice of Cytiva’s technology and solutions. Partnering closely with sales leaders to optimize the demand generation and lead handling process, the role ensures the progress of opportunities through the sales funnel. Networking and engaging with senior level industry influencers and decision makers in the country, this role leads a team to deliver product launch activities and tactical execution of marketing activities to help achieve our annual revenue targets and longer-term strategic objectives.
What You’ll Do
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on generating demand based on our customers’ needs and the unique competitive advantages of our products and services in the country.
Manage the activity of the country marketing team to generate, nurture and qualify leads through field activities to achieve our strategic objectives and meet or exceed regional targets.
Provide input to internal teams based on market intelligence on new trends, opportunities and competitor activity to the annual strategic and commercial plans for the various product families.
Lead customer and sales feedback activities related to messaging and campaign development.
Orientate the field team and colleagues to ensure optimized regional wide support of the sales team.
Partner with our sales leaders to develop and execute a comprehensive trade show program.
Commercialize new product launches.
Apply daily management approaches to actively track and report against targets and apply PSP methodology to determine appropriate counter measures if improvement is needed.
Provide coaching and leadership to the regional team to ensure functional excellence.
Ensure the growth and development of the team as well as succession for the function.
Implement initiatives that engage associates and promote retention of talent.
Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for direct reports. Partner closely with the human resources organization in developing organizational capabilities through succession planning, organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, talent acquisition and talent development strategies that link with business goals.
Create trusted relationships with your team members; Understand what they value and support them in achieving their development goals. Coach the team to enhance their network and identify challenging / stretch roles or projects to support career progression.
Understand the performance and development planning process. Partner with your team to create objectives, measure performance progress against objectives and close gaps with appropriate action plans.

Who you are
Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree
10+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of people leader experience
Familiarity with Life Sciences industry and product lines
