The BP Account Manager for Cytiva is responsible to drive overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy and goals leveraging all the Cytiva account team. Share ownership of customer relationship and Channel partners across Cytiva portfolio. A key contact between the company and customers/distributors and grows the business through an understanding of the market, an awareness and familiarity with the needs of customer/distributor, and knowledge of the product portfolio.

This position is part of the Bioprocess Commercial Team and located in Israel and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What will you do?

  • Represent Cytiva and function as a key customer point of contact in all allocated accounts.

  • Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales and order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.

  • Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations. 

  • Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization.

  • Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses to customers.

  • Provide transactional support to distributors such as maintaining contracts, price lists, master data files, special price quotations, and monitor stock levels in cooperation with other functions.

  • Develop distributor penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts, product ranges or customer segments, communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.

  

Who you are?

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, molecular biology, bioengineer, genetic engineer, pharmacy, life sciences or relevant field.

  • Commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology /Life Science industry.

  • Sales techniques include cross selling, upselling, value positions, sales forecast, account management, funnel management and working with end users and channel partners (Distributors)

  • Familiarity with bioprocessing and genomic medicine products.

  • English and local language (Polish)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel – 30% travel, overnight, within territory and EMEA region.

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
