The Engineering Team Leader is responsible for leading design or manufacturing improvement and leading an engineering team based in Pune.

This position is part of Pall’s Global Aerospace Engineering team and will be located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead design or manufacturing improvement projects, ensuring robust and efficient air and fluid systems.
  • Oversees the creation of 3D models, 2D drawings and supplementary design data for multiple projects.
  • Work with the Engineering Managers to support a broad portfolio of project across all aerospace product streams in multiple global locations (Americas, Europe, Asia) in line with business strategy.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Expert level knowledge of mechanical design principles specific to aircraft air and fluid systems.
  • Capable of building credibility with customers, key opinion leaders, internal stakeholders and team members through clear and impactful communication, in fluent written and spoken English.
  • Lead substantial design or manufacturing improvement projects, ensuring robust and efficient air and fluid systems. 
  • Able to balance team management and individual engineering deliverable responsibilities.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in design of filtration, or aerospace products and equipment, or equivalent regulated industry.
  • B.E / B.Tech (mechanical or aerospace). Master’s degree in engineering or management preferred.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Design for manufacture, design for cost reduction and VAVE.
  • R&D, Prototyping and early-stage new product development.
