Interviewing with Danaher
​​​​​​​in the time of COVID-19

The health and well-being of our associates – including prospective associates – is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and have made adjustments to our processes accordingly.

We felt it would be helpful to outline the steps we are taking and what you can expect from our recruiting teams during this time.

Some of the actions we are taking to keep our associates safe include:
  • Non-essential international and domestic business travel restrictions
  • Mandatory self-quarantine measures for associates at risk of exposure
  • Cancellation or postponement of all large internal and external meetings

As a result of increased safety measures, our interview processes will be altered. Danaher and our OpCos will conduct most candidate interviews virtually. In-person interviews may be permitted if:
  • The candidate is local; or
  • This is a final round interview and both the out-of-town candidate and the company mutually agree to meet in-person 
  • Please note that you may ask that the interview be conducted via video conference or by phone and that you do not need to disclose any protected information you would not otherwise have to share at this stage in the interview process (e.g., that you or a member of your household is immunocompromised or otherwise particularly vulnerable to Coronavirus); it is enough to say that you would feel more comfortable not interviewing in person at this point in time, given the uncertainty about the risk posed currently.
